Telehealth

Telehealth allows a person to make an appointment to speak to their GP via telephone in
their home while they undergo self-isolation or quarantine.

Persons who will be bulk billed for this service include;
+ concession card holders
+ children under 16 years old
+ patients who are more vulnerable to COVID-19 including people who are;
– at least 70 years Old
– identify as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander decent and are over 50 years of age
– pregnant
– the parent of a child under 12 months
– being treated for a chronic health condition
– immune-compromised

Persons who do not meet the above criteria are Still able to book a Telehealth consult but
may be charged a gap for this service.
